The Founder and CEO of Pakistan Science Club (PSC) Mr. Abdul Rauf participated in the conference and the roundtable meeting was held at the 2019 World Conference on Science Literacy (WCSL) in Beijing on October 16-17, 2019


This conference organized by the China Association for Science & Technology (CAST) Under the theme of “Science Literacy for Sustainable Development” the conference is designed to promote people-to-people diplomacy, help deliver the United Nation’s 2030 sustainable development goals and advance the building of a community of shared future for humanity, said Zheng Kai, vice director-general of the CAST’s department of science popularization.

3 Member (Aamna Ahmed, Arbaaz Mehmood, and Hamza Ibrahim) of the Pakistan Science Club has participated in the 34th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC) in collaboration with ECO Science Foundation and Pakistan Science Foundation. Pakistan Science Club is happy to announce that all of over participants got positions in their respective categories. Team Pakistan won one silver and two bronze medals. Pakistan Science Club founder/President Abdul Rauf & PAMS partners meet with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Islamabad: “Maths and science are integral to the country’s future, and our current education system is not adequately delivering the skills our children need”, said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during a meeting with a team from the Pakistan Alliance for Maths and Science (PAMS), which includes practitioners, scientists, and advocates from all over Pakistan on Wednesday.

The meeting was requested by PAMS to urge the government to help improve the state of learning in maths and science, in keeping with its responsibility of ensuring that every child receives quality education as per the Article 25-A of the constitution.
