World Conference on Science Literacy held in Beijing
The Founder and CEO of Pakistan Science Club (PSC) Mr. Abdul Rauf participated in the conference and the roundtable meeting was held at the 2019 World Conference on Science Literacy (WCSL) in Beijing on October 16-17, 2019
This conference organized by the China Association for Science & Technology (CAST) Under the theme of “Science Literacy for Sustainable Development” the conference is designed to promote people-to-people diplomacy, help deliver the United Nation’s 2030 sustainable development goals and advance the building of a community of shared future for humanity, said Zheng Kai, vice director-general of the CAST’s department of science popularization.
PSC Members Won 3 prizes at the international competition CASTIC 34
3 Member (Aamna Ahmed, Arbaaz Mehmood, and Hamza Ibrahim) of the Pakistan Science Club has participated in the 34th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC) in collaboration with ECO Science Foundation and Pakistan Science Foundation. Pakistan Science Club is happy to announce that all of over participants got positions in their respective categories. Team Pakistan won one silver and two bronze medals. The closing ceremony took place on 25th July 2019
PSC Successfully Holds NSIF
National Science & Innovation Fair 2019 was successfully organized Pakistan Science Club (PSC) in collaboration with by ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF), Usman Institute of Technology (UIT), Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and others.
The top three winners of the NSIF’19 participated in the China Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC), the biggest science contest of Asia in July 2019.

A family from Karachi will fly to Silicon Valley to share their idea to solve tooth decay problems by “Cavity crusher”, determining a child’s oral health using artificial intelligence and won Technology Award at AI World Championship in Santa Clara, USA for inventing a device, Cavity Crusher, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor a child’s brushing habits.

Islamabad: “Maths and science are integral to the country’s future, and our current education system is not adequately delivering the skills our children need”, said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during a meeting with a team from the Pakistan Alliance for Maths and Science (PAMS), which includes practitioners, scientists, and advocates from all over Pakistan on Wednesday.
The meeting was requested by PAMS to urge the government to help improve the state of learning in maths and science, in keeping with its responsibility of ensuring that every child receives quality education as per the Article 25-A of the constitution.
