The main emphasis is on the understanding of a model rocket, its aerodynamic structure, the concept of pressure, Pascal’s law, and its application in the energizing of the model rocket. Students will be guided in the workshop to make their own water rocket by using ordinary household materials like carbonated bottles, plastic files, polythene bags, etc. to decipher the fundamentals of projectile motion and the factors affecting it.
- The activity will be beneficial to developing the concept of basic aerodynamics and its application.
- working principle and use of pressure and Pascal’s law.
- The workshop will also be helpful for the students to learn about projectile motion, its factors, and its significance.
