Rubber Powered Glider
The project’s focus is to create an understanding of basic aerodynamics, simple machines, energy, its types, and its conversion from one form to another form. The activity relates to how a rubber band’s elastic energy is converted into mechanical energy to drive a simple propelling mechanism and basic aerodynamic structure to make a glider by using paper, balsa wood, sticking glue, and a propeller.
