In 2009, Pakistan Science Club began as a small idea by Abdul Rauf to make science hands-on, engaging, and accessible for students across Pakistan. What started with one dream has now grown into a movement powered by passionate educators, curious students, dedicated volunteers, and supportive families. Together, we have built an institution that continues to inspire the love of science across generations.

Over these sixteen years, our journey has been like a series of experiments full of trials, errors, breakthroughs, and discoveries. There were moments of success that encouraged us and challenges that tested our resolve. Yet, what makes Pakistan Science Club unique is its ability to sustain, adapt, and grow in all conditions. Every obstacle became an opportunity to learn, every setback a chance to improve, and every success a motivation to go further.

This year is especially meaningful. We have expanded our vision with the creation of a new PSC Makerspace a dedicated hub where ideas can be tested, prototypes can be built, and young minds can collaborate to turn imagination into reality. While construction is still in progress, the space already stands as a symbol of our future. At the same time, we are preparing to launch two of our most awaited initiatives by the end of this year projects that reflect years of planning, teamwork, and persistence.

Our achievements over these sixteen years go beyond physical spaces. We have become self-sustained, successfully launched and run startups such as ScienceStore.pk and Telescopes.pk, and delivered thousands of science kits, telescopes, and educational resources into the hands of curious learners. Through STEM camps, workshops, science fairs, and teacher training programs, we have inspired tens of thousands of students across the country to experience science not just as theory, but as an exciting, hands-on journey of discovery.

What makes this milestone most meaningful is not only the projects and initiatives, but the people who made them possible. Pakistan Science Club has always been more than an organization it is a community. This journey belongs to our members and families who supported us, our dedicated volunteers who turned vision into action, the teachers and parents who believed in our mission, and most importantly, the students whose curiosity drives everything we do.

This year’s 16th anniversary celebration was held at the PSC office, surrounded by the people who have been an integral part of our journey our core team, founding members, families, and close friends. Founding member Abdul Qadeer and core team members Hasan Siddique, Hammad Nazir, Sana Hassaan, Habab Idrees, Faiza Almas, and Fatima Rasheed joined the celebration, alongside many other dedicated team members who continue to carry this mission forward.

We deeply missed our founding member Muhammad Ammar and core team member Aiman Rasheed, who could not attend due to being away from the country, but whose contributions remain central to PSC’s story. In addition, several close friends and long-time supporters also joined us to mark the occasion, making the celebration even more special.

As we celebrate sixteen years of Pakistan Science Club, we are not just looking back we are looking forward. With new makerspaces, startups, and projects on the horizon, the journey of science and discovery continues. Sixteen years ago, we set out to make science hands-on, fun, and meaningful. Today, that mission is stronger than ever, and tomorrow it will continue to grow with every curious mind that joins us.

Today, we’re not just celebrating 16 years of Pakistan Science Club we’re celebrating you. Our students, volunteers, teachers, partners, and supporters and every single person who believed in making science accessible, engaging, and for everyone.
This is our story, and you’ve been part of every chapter.
