Sana — STEM Educator | Program Manager | Science Communicator
Sana is a passionate science educator and program manager with over a decade of experience in hands-on STEM education, mentoring, and curriculum development. Since joining Pakistan Science Club (PSC) in 2011 as a volunteer student coordinator, she has grown into a leadership role, currently serving as Manager and Science Communicator, where she continues to inspire the next generation of innovators and critical thinkers.
Her journey in science communication began by guiding young students through science camps and helping them explore creative solutions to real-world problems. Over the years, she has designed and led countless hands-on workshops, teacher trainings, and national STEM initiatives, with a focus on making science fun, accessible, and meaningful for learners of all ages.
Sana has mentored several award-winning research projects at both national and international levels, including the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the Google Science Fair. Her students’ projects—ranging from renewable energy solutions to water treatment systems—have repeatedly earned top honors under her guidance.
In 2018 and 2019, Sana led the AI Family Challenge in Pakistan and represented the country at Silicon Valley, California, where her team won the Technology Award. Since 2020, she has been proudly serving as the Chapter Ambassador for Technovation Girls Pakistan, a global initiative that empowers young girls to solve community problems through technology and entrepreneurship.
Beyond her work at PSC, Sana contributes to the Commonwealth Business Women Network as a social media administrator and content developer, where she supports initiatives aimed at promoting women’s leadership across Pakistan.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and is certified in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning under the Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence & Computing (PIAIC).
With a deep commitment to equity in education, Sana is constantly developing engaging, inquiry-based content that helps learners not only understand science but connect with it.
