The Muallem Prize: A Recognition of Excellence in Teaching

The Muallem Prize is a prestigious non-profit award presented annually by the Borhan Foundation for Education, with the support of various individuals and organizations. Its purpose is to honor exceptional teachers and elevate the social status of the teaching profession. Each year, this award recognizes one or more educators for their outstanding contributions.

This year, the Muallem Prize received nominations from over 30,000 teachers across 23 countries. Among these talented individuals, our CEO, Abdul Rauf, stood out and was selected as one of the top 20 semifinalists after a thorough evaluation process. After further scrutiny and additional criteria, Mr. Rauf advanced to the final stage, securing a spot in the top 5 finalists. Out of over 30,000 teachers, he was the only Pakistani to make it to this stage and ultimately became a finalist.

This achievement is not just a personal milestone for Mr. Abdul Rauf, but also a proud moment for Pakistan and the teaching community. It reflects the dedication and hard work he has poured into his career since 2002, advocating for STEM education and hands-on learning.
