Which direction does the aluminum foil move to?

Materials:

Aluminum foil, Dry cell, Bar magnet, Scotch tape

Procedure:

Paste the Aluminum foil of 1mm wide on the table with tape as shown in Fig.1. The shape of Aluminum foil is half-circular.Pass electric current through the Aluminum with a dry cell and bring the N-pole of the bar magnet above the Aluminum foil. Observe the movement of Aluminum foil.

Science: Fleming’s left hand law

According to this rule, stretch the thumb, forefinger and the middle finger of the left hand mutually at right angles to each other. If the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field, the middle finger in the direction of the current, then the thumb would indicates the direction of the force acting on the conductor.

Question:

Change the direction of electric current and put the magnet up side down.
