You will need
- two small, light pulleys
- scrap wood
- dowel
- string
- paper
- pin or nail
Use construction paper or poster paper for the pinwheel. Assemble as shown. Demonstrate by blowing fan at pinwheel, showing that this windmill performs work by turning the pulleys. Explain that wind power may soon be an important energy source
