Sound activities

A group of activities addresses the production of sound, its propagation and factors on which it depends. The making of cup phone, simple guitar and bugle help the students to learn about importance of vibration in sound production, how it transfers from one place to another and how changing length effect it.

  • The activity focuses the concept of vibration, its production and its effects
  • Understanding of sound, its propagation and factors affecting on it.
  • Discuss how length variation and medium of transfer depend on the quality of sound
  • Requirement

    • Age: 7-12 years
    • of students: 30 (maximum)
    • Duration: 60 minutes
