A hands-on skill-building project using ordinary household material to understand the concept of gravity, atmospheric pressure and its applications.<\/p>\n<h3>What is Bird water Feeder?<\/h3>\n<p>It is an exciting hands-on activity to understand atmospheric pressure and one of its basic application for helping little birds under scorching sun.<\/p>\n<h3>How does it work?<\/h3>\n<p>Because of gravity, the water in the reservoir wants to flow out through the small opening in the \u201cbowl\u201d area but cannot because the pull of the water creates a low-pressure zone in the top of the bottle that counteracts it (it\u2019s like anti-gravity!) by \u201csucking\u201d the water up.
