Intel ISEF affiliated Shaukat Khanum Sindh Provincial Science and Engineering Fair 2017 was held at 7th November at Pak Turk International School, Gulistan-e-Jauher, Karachi. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), a program of Society for Science & the Public (the Society), is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition which is now been sponsored by Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Pakistan.
The fascinating, engaging and learning with fun activities were conducted in three public school in Hyderabad consecutively from Tuesday, September 19 to Thursday, September 21. The schools were Govt. Boys Lower Secondary School, Khiabad, GOR Colony, Latifabad, Govt. Girls Lower Secondary School, Gul Shah Abbasia and Govt. Boys Lower Secondary School, Qazi Abid, Hyderabad.

Pakistan Science club's Summer Camps 2017: Tap Into Unlimited Creative Potential
To explore science and nature around us is an adventure. Children are naturally very curious and eager to know about new things around. For such innovative and aspirant, Pakistan science club is introducing Science, Engineering, Technology and Math (STEM) camp in summer vacations. Almost all students get free in vacations and search for some interactive and recreational activities. STEM Summer camp is providing an amazing opportunity for hands-on learning experience with an insight to explore the logic behind scientific phenomenon which have been taught in schools.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department launched a week-long summer camp, along with the theme ‘popular science’, in over two thousand public sector schools across the province. Pakistan Science Club also participated in this one week Summer Science Camp from 7th August to 14th August in KPK with the collaboration of Alif Ailan and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Government of KPK.
An exciting, engaging and worth learning fun science demonstration and hands-on activity was conducted on 9th of March, Thursday by Pakistan Science Club in collaboration with Alif Ailaan as a part of Math’s and Science campaign in Rahat-e-Islamia government School adopted by The Dawood Foundation (TDF).

More than 200 students from grade 3rd to 5th along with teachers attended the activity which comprises of two parts i.e. fun science show and Simple helicopter hand-on project making activity. The event comprises of three hours activities, science show started at 11:30 am and was carried out for an hour. It involved the students in a very energetic and enthusiastic manner and addressed the fundamental concepts of science such as pressure difference, vacuum effect, breakage of polymer layer due to reaction of acid, center of gravity, chemical reactions etc. The activities engaged students in a very interesting way; actively participated in all, asked questions and also tried to accept the challenges as well.
