DIY Electric Scissor from CD-ROM

Simple Do-it your self (DIY0 Electric Scissor from CD-ROM parts. In this project you will learn how circular motion converted in to linear motion and where we can use. In this experiment we made automatic scissor cuter.

Required Material:

  • A scissor
  • Old CD-ROM
  • 2 inch steal wire
  • 9v Battery

Construction:

Remove upper parts of Old CD Rom

CD slider mechanism (gears and pulleys ) is required
CD slider mechanism (gears and pulleys ) is required which is mention by arrow

 

cut one side of gear box mention by red arrow
cut one side of gear box mention by red arrow

 

cut an other side of gear box mention by yellow arrow
cut an other side of gear box mention by yellow arrow

 

Take one and half inch of steal wire and make a hole in this gear

Take a scissor and remove it one plastic handle and place on gear of  body with the help of supper glue. fixed a steal wire with gear and upper part of scissors plastic handle

soldering a 9c battery connector with motor circuit
